• Environmental limit:The trail passes through the Ecological Reserve and the Oncorhynchus Masou sanctuary in the Snow Mountain National Park.
• Intensity of development/Type of facility: Not apt for exploration and it is proposed to keep tourists in limited numbers as Type 3 Trails of the National Trail Systems.

The Wuling 4 peaks Sector stretches about 19.5km in length and the trail passes by Pintian Mountain (of 3,529m in height and known for its steel cliffs), Chiyou Mountain (of 3,301m in height and known for the large number of ponds by the prairie), Tao Mountain (of 3,324m in height and known for the peach-tip-like peak), Kelaye Mountain (of 3,132m in height) ranking among the top 100 in Taiwan. The geological landscape of the Wuling 4 peaks Sectors highlighted by the leg in Pintian Mountain, where the hatchback rock layers are world renowned attraction. Formed by altered grit of the new age and plate-like rocks that interlay each other, the phenomenon is the result of the mountain forming in Penglai some 5,000,000 years ago, which implied bulging, corrugation and slight deterioration and eventually river erosion.
